Porsche reccomends an 8-10K oil change interval depending on your car. An individual on rennlist put this to the test in coordination with Mobil. This guy worked with Mobil to verify that the oil (I believe it was 10w40) is perfectly fine with an 8-10k change interval. He sent back oil reports every 3-5K miles and actually came to the conclusion that 15K is a reasonable change interval.
