    325is 1/4 mile

I went to the drag strip a few weeks ago and ran a 15.3 @89. I have an 90 325is w/ just JC chip and Stromung cat-back. That was my 2nd run down a drag strip ever. On one of the next few runs i busted both motor mounts and both tranny mounts...car made it 70 miles back home that night though.

Is a 15.3 a good time for my car? I was just hoping to run a 15.5 since i thought i read in a mag that it is supposed to run a 16.0 stock.

'87 325is ran 15.6 at 88 mph in the 1/4, according to Car and Driver. So, you beat by a hair.

I got a 15.6 @ 85mph. 3 cylinders have low compression and my clutch slips just a little bit. 15.3 sounds good though.
