    Ultra Racing front subframe brace

    Hey r3v,

Anyone have experience with the below product? Aside from the general assumptions that all ebay products are complete crap.

A friend of mine has it on his m30 e30coupe
He claims he felt a little difference but he always complained from it rubbing on nearly everything
Car was lowered and it decresed his ground clearance

i have looked at those pretty seriously, but honestly garagistic's brace is probably worth the extra money. its made out of beefier square tubing and is gusseted and looks tough as fuck. it mounts to both lollipop bolts for extra strength too.

This was my thought as well but if the Ultra got good reviews I figured I'd save the extra $100. idk yet though, it def would affect ground clearance but I'm not exactly slammed because I run beef.

I forget where I saw a review of this thing and remember that when the customer set it flat on the table, it didn't stand flat on all 4's kind of like a shitty table at a restaurant where you have to put something under one of the legs so its stops moving.

These have been around for a number of years. Not great, but could be a good starting point. Not a fan of the open box, would love to throw a diagonal member in there and gusset the two CAB mount points. Should be pretty sturdy if that were done.
