    As the guy who developed the IE Wilwood kits, I wish you luck.

    For your price point I'm assuming you're going with a heavy one-piece rotor and not a two-piece design? That's usually where a "budget" kit finds the most savings.

      I've got a spare hat/rotor combo for my front UUC kit. Putting it on would be as simple as getting calipers and making a bracket. Race pads are $100 a set. Of course you'd have to limit brake force to the rear for balance. Obviously you'd lose the parking brake, but I lost that a long time ago. The rotor would be much further away from the trailing arm too, may not be feasible.

      Hmm...I should look into this more.

            I replaced my stock MC with an E30 M3 one to get a slightly firmer pedal feel. Very happy I did.

            (Running the 4-piston Wilwood Superlite Calipers on 300mm rotors. Massive's 'Sport' Kit)
