    I want to Autocross ...???

Here's the thing, i've been reading online ~ scca, licences, driving schools, driverreg.com etc etc etc and i can't seem to find a club or someone throwing an event in south florida (homestead, daytona, moroso and who knows what other tracks/parking lots are there)...i see a lot of drag, nascar and drifting but i want auto-x. I have no licences of any kind apart from DL.

Anyways i've decided to stop wasting my time and ask someone for directions. I would like to know what i need to do, sign up, qualify or something so that i can finally drive. I've been preppin my car for a while and its time i make use of the 225's i got sitting around. I would belong in the s.fl and central region florida

Please, i ask you guys to throw me some links, clubs, events. I would like to drive atleast 1-2/mo. Ty in advance!
    No more e30s for me.

You only need a regular DL.

AutoX is a good place to start, but it isn't nearly as much fun an HPDE. And you'll get lots more seat time in a DE weekend than you will in several AutoX days. PBOC does a lot of events in Florida and I'm sure they'd love to have you join them.

More like many autocross days. Even at 1 minute per run it would take 20 runs just to match one HPDE session.

Exactly, and you'll typically get 6-8 sessions in a weekend. And then there's experience of having the car somewhere north of 100mph, which I doubt you'll ever see at an AutoX.

Once you do an autox, then do a track event, you will be, "why the fuck did I even waste my time doing autox"

yeah i got to them through the homestead speedway site but their next event is on march...just waiting for the registration to open!

are there any websites such as driverregistration.com that have all the events compiled into one website; like an events central?

Dont go to Moroso... if you're driving north, go to Sebring.
