    No problems actually with corner exits, you have to keep in mind I am LOW on power lol

        well, im very happy with the opinions ive read here... placing my order this morning. should i get the road hazard warranty though? get free replacements?

          I personally never spring for that, I guess it depends how it's covered but if you have to dismount the tire and send it back to be covered it doesn't seem like it would be worth it to me.

          Jean, didn't notice you were running a 318. Let me know how it goes.

            Also, for reference, this year on my new e30 I am running Hankook RS212's which are suppossed to be the Azeni's rival competitor. These have the sidewall of regular street tires and feel very mushy on turn in. I haven't run them at an autox yet but that's just how they feel on the street. Some ppl are sucessful with them but after I wear them out I'm going back to Azeni's.

              A friend os mine is using those on his rsx-s in STX. He is switching over to RT615s to try them out back to back :)

                I guess I'm chiming in a little late, but oh well. When I was ready to get a set, edge racing was sold out but they had the Hancook(equivilent). Vulcan was cheaper but shipping made up for it, plus when I called they said the tires were coming out of 2 different locations. That sounded like trouble to me. So I called edge and they were out of everything, even the Hancooks!
                Anyway, they were getting Azenis in later in the week so I ended up with them. They had very fast shipping BTW.

                I had them mounted on my old bottlecaps. I found a set of basketweaves and had my regular tires mounted on them. In the process of changing back and forth for autoXing it seems that the Azenis/bottlecaps are lighter than the other wheels.

                With Bilstein Sports, Bav Auto springs and stock sways I'm running 41 front and 40-41 rear. I only have 2 events on the Azenis so I'm still playing with psi. When I drive them to and from, I run @ 35 all around.
                They feel fantastic on the street. Miles of grip. I'm on the lookout for a deal on some sways.

                At the risk of hijacking this thread, anyone have input as to how the Azenis work in the rain? I don't mean just wet pavement but during a downpour.

                  They're relatively poor in the rain compared to a "real" street tire. But they're light years ahead of an R-comp with low tread. (any hoosier or worn RA1 etc)

                  If you aren't pushing fast in the rain, they're fine. They're pretty good autoxing in the rain even, but I would prefer more tread for a dedicated rain tire.

                    My Azenis scared me in standing water on regular roads. I always had to slow down more than normal because they really love to jet off one direction or the other when hydroplaning. I never ran them in rain competition tho.

                      Sounds good. I was contemplating running Azenis 24/7 after my street tires wear out but I guess I won't.

                      Also, what kind of wear can I expect if I do 1 autoX and @ 300 miles of commuting a month? Half of that is the trip to/from the venue and the rest is 2 trips to work. I'm normally slack about changing back to streets right away.

                        I have some RT-215s on weaves right now, I'm going to pick up some of the 615s when I need new tires. I love the 215s that I've got right now, so the 615's should be pretty nice. I've been to the track with them twice and they did extremely well. Plenty of grip and and when you do start to step the ass end out they lose grip predictably, nothing crazy.

                          I do daily drive my e30 averaging roughly 80-100mi a day. The price of the tires is fantastic considering the claimed performance you get from them. And I do see rain out in these parts, the good weather days are here more than the rainy days. I see no point in buying all seasons for that bit of rain which will sacrifice my dry weather grip. Anyways, whenever I get around to buying aftermarket wheels, those will get the all season treatment.

                            300 miles a month? that's peanuts!

                            I'd expect them to last a year easily. I drive 300 miles a week and do 2-3 autox's a month, and I never actually got down to the wear bars in a year before I changed to a different tire setup.

                              Peete, it doesn't rain enough down here to make dailying them a problem. I ran them for ~8months with an eyeballed alignment and they were not worn out. Hell, Jason (tabasco) is still autoxing the same damn tires.

                                Just ran both days this weekend in SM, tried running lower tire pressures and car understeered some more so I went back to about 38front/36rear.

                                It gets a little tail happy when they heat up to 40front/38rear, but just enough to rotate the car. I forgot to mention, my car doesn't have a rear sway so that probably makes a big difference between our cars.
