I've got 69 days, and the car doesn't run yet.

I'm ready...my car runs but needs a complete overhaul and I also have a 4-point bolt in to go in this winter as well.

I have to start working on it soon, but it should really only take a couple of weeks to get all buttoned up. I can't wait for April to roll around...of course I see you're in Georgia -- winter ends a lot sooner there than in WI

        Haha

I kind of am like that. Car gets dropped off in about an hour for a bunch of mods(thanks sponsor haha) and then get caged installed and alignment. Then mount up all those tires!

I gotta finish putting my cage in, take it to the shop to get the radiator core fixed, respray it, install all new front end parts, and I should be good to go.

My first race is in two weeks!!!! We have a 3 hour enduro on Friday and a sprint each day Sat. and Sun.

So far I've replaced the short block
            rebuilt the head
            upgraded all rear end bushings
replaced more little parts than I care to mention
got an alignment (went all year last year without one, I know, I know)
Dynoed my bone stock motor at 150rwhp and 155rwtq

I still have to get some little stuff squared away, mount all of the new tires/rims up and pack!!

To the OP, I've seen you reference your "sponsor" in multiple posts and have not once seen you say who they are. Seems counter intuitive.

I am ready for it to start, but the car isn't quite. Need to fix a small fuel issue I found at 6200, should be ready in a week or so though.

WHo dat with? Northern Ohio CCA?

Not doing NASA on the 11-13th of April?

And to the OP, I am not yet there. Engine still has to go in, as does the cage. Car is at the shop as it has been for a while. I am doing the bulk of the mechanical work while DTRGuy is building my cage and providing the space/lift/air tools, etc.

Still have to get the Spec exhaust (it'd be nice if the mandated supplier would return an email) and various other items.

The deadline I have set for myself is to have it ready to go by the end of February.

The car is ready and waiting. 12 days and counting.

My winter projects were pretty minimal...
                    Timing belt, plugs, oil.

I’ll bleed the brakes the night before I head to the track.

There’s only a 40% chance I’ll even wash off the bug guts left over from the last race 2007.

Well, I am just an HPDE guy, not a race guy... but I just bought the car for my track rat.

I will be doing all the rubber underneath and all the general maintenance items like the timing belt, filters, fluids, and anything else that comes up.

The car has Bilstein sports with Eibach springs. I don't know what type of Eibach they are. I might keep this for the first year, or I might change them out. It depends on just how soft they are and how much the basic maintenance parts will cost me.

                          I'm not quite yet ready.

I probably should replace my RTABs... nasty dive for the grass on braking hard isn't fun

Got a new set of ES100s for baskets I don't yet have a complete set of... technocolor coffee table ones. (If anyone wants bottlecaps and drift tires, let me know... we can trade)

Then going to put it on the track with 140rwhp of stock fury!

There's a whiny 4.10 lsd in my garage I ought to get fixed and eventually re-install. And a Mark D chip might be handy as well.

Mine is on jack stands, just got done filling a 12"x12" square of floorboard, where rust previously resided. The interior is gutted, I'm repainting the roll bar. The suspension is torn apart.

Full time job + full time student = no time to finish track car :(

I still have nearly 3 months though.
