Cool deal. If you go through the 15" wheel thread ( I go last page -> forward), you can find pics of the 7". Not a bad looking wheel, but doesn't look quite as good as the 8" to me.

Yeah, I don't expect to *need* a roll on by 15x8 with 225s. I don't think I'll be going low enough. That said, if I hit, I'm rolling 'em, no problemo.

I'd say he jumped it if I knew that was possible without wrecking the oil pan. :D

    Haha, that takes skills!

I have only had them rub on two occasions, once was when I had three people in the car and took a hard corner with R888s (rear rubbed), the other was when I was completely sideways over rough pavement with RS3s (front rubbed).

I needed the slight roll and pull in the rear for the 225s. But now I'm gunna space them out 6 mm since I have some extra space :)

    The 8". Roll your fenders.

The 7" has a flat face, the 8" has a concave face. They look different for sure, and the only way I could pull them off is if they were black.

I love white cars and black wheels, but this doesn't really work that well for me on the E30.

My advice is to go through the TRM C1 thread, and through the black wheels threads, and make your decision.

Just forget your hangup on fender rolling. You're going to spend almost as much on wheels and tires than the car is worth in FMV, you might as well roll. I'll almost guarantee you that you can find someone from the local import forum that will roll them for $50 and have them look good. The e30 is a small car. If you want to run a large tire and wheel package, roll.

I've actually got two sets of these wheels: Silver for dd, grey for track.

Yes thats about a 6ft table top I got from Ikea. I'm not too keen on the silver, but thought I would mix it up.

My wheels are actually bright silver too, but they wind up anthricate after a few days of brake dust :p

I've never really liked black wheels. Silver is way more classy, and you can actually see the details of the wheel--imagine that.
