You want SFI 45.1 spec padding, it is usually $18-$25 per 3 feet. I got mine from Bimmerworld.Comment

if cost is a major factor. get the SFI stuff and put that in the places where your head could impact the bars, then use the cheaper not SFI stuff in the other areas.
While this is not the best way to go... your head is by far the most important part of your body that will benefit from the padding.
With all of that said... you should be able to get away with just 2 sticks for the drivers side only.
