    Rear sway question

At what rear spring rates are you guys typically ditching the rear sway?

I have been running 400/650 with a cab front bar and E30 M3 rear. I recently disconnected the rear bar and it plows slightly. I think I'll swap in a stock rear bar.

        **scratch that, they're 450/600**

perfectly balanced with bars (even tire temps all around), not as tight with the rear off.

I've been running 450/750 with a cabrio front sway and no rear sway. Couldn't have been happier.

Wow 750 in the rear? How is that on the street?

If that is the case you are doing something wrong. Just about any car can be made to plow. I used to have a ESP Camaro. 315 race tires all corners. At one event I had just finished up a rear adjustable sway bar, and had some binding issues-DUMB on my part.

My ex could make that car at that event plow at any given corner. At this same event I was running 15lbs of air in the 315 Rear tires, the pan hard rod bracket broke off of the axle and it was undriveably loose for me. She made it plow.

Slow down ahead of time and power all the way out.

it's probably fine. I know Issac's car has the same rates and the ride is pretty good. I have 600/700 and I took my family to dinner last night - nobody said anything about it being stiff. For the most part I feel like it rides better than my old soft H&Rs. It also depends on how much your car weighs as well - an 84 318 would probably feel stiffer than my car with the same suspension.

On the other hand, I rode in a completely stock Neon today. that thing felt like it had 2x4's for suspension. I got so car sick I could barely do anything after we got back. I'm so glad I didn't let the GF buy one of those things..

I've got H&R Race's (~380/550) with a stock front bar and a 19mm rear bar. I love the way it handles. Even though it only has one 2-day AutoX event under the belt.

It's fine. Firm, but not harsh. I have no complaints.

^You're running Slyder's coilovers with the Koni DA's right? Or am I thinking of someone else.

Are his Koni's revalved or the stock valving?
