Did your cars come with extra.. I dunno, stuff? My 84 323 with 325 motor weighs 1070 kg (2354 lbs) with full tank of gas and spare. My car had no sound deadning in boot - no ac/no power steer/ race seats - no back seats.

I already took the belt off my air conditioning for some gain that is barely noticeable. but I am moving to Arizona I dont know whether it would be feasable to take out the AC compressor and stuff, I know I wont need a heater anymore.Comment

I also doubted the claims about the back seat's weight.
Lucky for me and my OCD, I have a spare back seat lying around.
Leather, no armrest cut-out (solid one-piece back) -
Back + bottom = 32lbs
I suppose 32lbs is a lot to drop so easily, but it'd much rather lose 32lbs from the front end instead...Comment
