Pimping of products, ie Griot's Garage

I find it to be extremely annoying when DarkWing6 posted about Griot's products in every single thread that pertains to something they sell... I think his posts about Griots should either be limited to the Retail Classifieds forum, or Griots should pay for a banner ad on the site. He is basically advertising the company he works for all over the place.

No, but its not only Derek, I think it should be a general forum rule. He's also made it clear in other threads that he doesn't care about making the plugs.

Ok, the sig was a joke for all the PNW guys and I will remove it if it really bothers you. When people ask what product to use on something I tell them what I think is the best for what they are doing. I'm not finding every chance that I can to plug my company. If you look at the wheel cleaner thread I was telling people to use a dedicated wheel cleaner not Griot's specific. There are plenty of people that would recomend Griot's products over all the other ones out there. What do I gain from recomending Griot's products? I don't make commission. I am trying to help peolpe take care of their vehicles by offering them the best products that I know of.
