And guess what people -- the guy is willing to work on the price. Sure he'd like 2500, but I know for a fact he will move quite a bit off of it. I thought about buying it, but more for personal reasons (i really dont have the time) and not $ reasons, I would up passing on it - though he came down A LOT in price.

I would have to do some research, and right now I just don't have the time, but I'd just about be willing to bet wheeter's dumped on someone's FS thread in the past b/c the guy was selling some copy-cat shit, or his price was just too high, or maybe just because wheeter didn't like the guy and wanted to run him "off" from r3v. Maybe someone knew a car's history that was FS and let everyone else know that it had been wrecked, is that okay? It's shitting in the thread right? I mean, the guy might sell the car otherwise. I don't advocate shitting in the FS threads, but there seems to be a double standard here. I also don't think predators should be given free reign here based on posting liberties and our own rules against posting in a FS thread. That's just silly.

Not everybody knows the markets and what is reasonable and what's not. A guy comes on here as a newbie and posts replica wheels for sale that are in crap shape and wants as much for them as a set of the real things? Meh. I don't feel bad about my post. And wheeter, I'm not here to set examples, that's what YOUR parents were supposed to do. I appreciate the compliment though.

As for the rest? It's been covered before, but yes wheeter, in the real world, people DO discuss the value of items and whether the prices are reasonable. I used to sell cars and it happened every day. EVERY day. Pissed me off a lot, one of the reasons I'm not selling cars anymore, it was a shit job dealing with...ugh....people!

Sorry Dave, but Heeter kept it going. Had he been the bigger man and tried to keep composure, I would have left it alone. But people saw that they were getting under his skin, and that rarely happens. So they took advantage of that opportunity, and I don't blame them for that.

Does it suck that it was in the FS forum in a posting of a car not even his? Yes, but with the amount of shit smeared across this board left behind from Heeter's dragging ass, why should FS be off limits and the rest of the forums be open season?

Heeter was finally put on the defensive, and it's clear it's not something he's comfortable with or good at. Stick to the offensive Heeter - we know how much you love to do it.

In most cases of FS thread shitting, I agree with you Dave. But Heeter has had this coming ever since we had to let him come back on when the OG's got upset with his banning. He's made an ass of himself since then, but we put up with him because for some reason people want him on here. This was a long time coming for him, and he got what he deserved.

When people are incapable of understanding there is no need to complain about someone's high prices, it troubles me about the decline of society's intelligence. Aren't you in economics? Shouldn't you be able to understand this?

I was pretty sure the thread was doing downhill from the start, but was saddened it actually did happen because in a proper forum with a good FS section, it wouldn't have had.
