    FS threads

In my opinion, we should make them more of a classified listing, or make the threads "locked" - no responses.

The amount of BS banter that goes on in them is ridiculous.

I'm all over that Dave. I just posted a nice response in Stefan's post.

People need to start playing by the rules. It's not fair to buyers or sellers to have to sift through all that bullshit.

Fellow mods. I am in huge support of locking all posts to just the first seller post, and having PM be used to negotiate sales. I think it would be a big help to all sellers, and keep the board clean.

    Thoughts?

Well more of a classified system would be good, unless the FS is broekn down into sub-forums - whole cars, wheels and tires, parts, etc. Otherwise, the threads just go into the abyss pages away.

I think it might be a good idea to split them up a little bit. It would make things much easier to shift through.

We've already been over all subjects mentioned in this thread

No further changes will be made to the classified forums.

              Thanks.

Fuck off wheeter. It's not as if YOU'VE never shit on somebody's sale thread.

I think if making a point about something for sale is in order then do it. I didn't SHIT on his thread, just making a point. It happens. If you don't like it. meh.

If anything, I am USUALLY more than helpful to peeps selling stuff. This was one isolated incidence where I felt he was high. That's it.

people are smart enough on their own right to know if something is the right value or not, why is it necessary to post your opinion on prices?

if the seller has a wrong read on the value of the item, the item will go unsold. there's no need to try to inform others

the lack of respect on FS threads is insane. No civil person would walk through a market and discourage buyers from purchasing goods because they are overpriced, so why is it common on forums?
