Getting rerouted to Google play store?

Don't know if it just my phone or what, but sometimes when I click to see a thread on here I get routed to the Google play store. Is this happening to anyone else?

Disable javascript. Some advertisers embed java that forwards me to the apple store in iOS, disabling javascript fixed it for me on many sites. I also use adblock on the PC.

Yes, it's ONLY doing it for r3v....anytime I refresh a page on here it sends me to some ad...it bypasses the pop up blocker too.

Ditto. Did a peek to find someone else complaining before I started a thread, so glad I found this under forum news. Glad I'm not the only one / thought it could have been my phone, but then again didn't happen on any other site.

Technology and I don't mix. I have no idea what the JavaScript thing is. Did a search on my phone and nothing was found. But it seems to be getting worse now. Now I'm getting a pop-up that says my phone needs Zero Launch.

I was thinking my phone had a virus or something. Add me to the list.

Why would it only do this when on R3V? Is it something with the site? It happens when I'm logged on and also when I'm not.

Getting rerouted to Google play store?

The ads snuck some JavaScript in or the site was hacked. It could also be in someone's sig, with the amount of spam, I doubt there is much input sanitization.

In the settings for whatever phone or web browser you're using go find the option for javascript and disable it. That might fix the problem.

It could also be adware on your phone from some junk ass free app like live wallpapers or emoji and it then spams you with this crap.

Are you having difficulty loading websites with interactive elements such as shopping carts? Most of these elements are powered by JavaScript, a powerful scripting language for websites. By default, all Android browsers have JavaScript...

Found this on a site I frequent, hrm, looks like javascript can be snuck in through images. What'll they think of next?!
