How about an IC section? For the 'Verts!

I think it would be great to have a section for the vert people here. It would be nice to have a specific place to ask questions regarding vert trim, power and manual top stuff, hardtops, seals and weatherstrips, body kits, etc. While we do share a lot with the rest of the E30 lineup, I there are enough differences to make it worthwhile.

Perhaps we can have a section under Appearance & Cosmetic? That seems to be where most of the differences lie.

Copying my post from the other thread... I'm 5thing this proposal

I would def like a forum dedicated to vert info and differences between models... for instance I know all about the metal bumper to plastic bumper and taillight transitions for all the hardtop cars but still don't know much about the verts, even though I've owned one going on two years (plastic bumper verts were only in '92 and '93? But what about the lower rear wheel arches???).

Stuff like where to get a vert carpet, how to modify coupe seats to fit in a vert, seeing pictures of coupe door cards installed in a vert (does it work or doesn't it?), the emiata rear window install, home depot $7 window seals, whatever you can think of that is specific to the vert, installing a battery in the rear of the car, which rear lowering springs you can get that have stiffer rates than their coupe counterparts (and how the H&R vert springs also work in an IX??)

A for sale section for convertible specific parts (ahem interiors).

Basically it would be awesome to have a section of the forum dedicated to keeping these cars on the road. Like the IX forum

            Thanks for the support guys.

We do share a ton of parts in common with the other E30 cars and we're not M3 special so I don't see a for sale section happening.

I think a small tech section, like the IX, would be great.
