I would like this feature back too.

When someone is asking about a problem and fails to mention model (which I see relatively often) it helps us who are trying to help diagnose a problem or locate parts.

I liked to be able to look at the OP Info on the left and see what I am helping/suggesting info for, ie 325i, e. 318, ect.
