I have a lot of BMW parts sitting around that I want to clear out. Mostly e36 and e30 parts, but I am sure lots of people are in similar positions. It's been on my mind a lot, and it would be cool to start putting together a big swap meet for all of us to offload or trade parts for some cash or other parts we actually need. Some things I would just give away for free so I can have the space back.
Doesn't need to be anything formal. If there's very little interest we can do it at my place just like a normal garage sale. If there's a lot more interest we can find a park to use in the early morning or in the afternoon when it cools down. There's also some big parking lots like the K-Mart that shut down and hasn't been filled with anything that we could easily use as long as there's no drama queens or burnout idiots.
Anyways, chime in if you're down or have ideas. I'm located in the east bay (usually Concord/Pittsburg) and work in San Ramon.
