Official California E30 Sightings Thread

I was at the Elvis Costello concert tonight at Humphreys in San Diego. Saw 3 early model 4 doors. One Schwartz, one alpine eta, and one dark red (not sure german name for dark red).

The dark red car, we stopped in traffic and talked. Anybody on here?

i saw so many e30s yesterday!

finally met the owner of this one i've seen near my apartment for the past two years:





and this clean 318is right across the street!




also saw a lowered late black coupe with some kind of 5-spoke wheels on veteran, and a late vert with a young kid that gave a thumbs up on santa monica.

This guy near school. Talked to him and he is the original owner who imported back in the early 80's.
728i manual 135k miles.
He also owned an e23 ALPINA and a 745i.

Saw a Lagunagrun '92 318i Vert in front of work on my way out of Chick-Fil-A; parked in the very first stall. Lookin good, just needs MOARLOW and weaves :up:

Spotted a vert this morning on the 210 by the 605. White, db, lowered on gold wheels. Had a eat sleep BMW sticker on the window. Very nice looking car.

I just saw a 325is on el camino real passing the Encinitas sheriff's sub station. This car was a greyish metallic. it had a full roll cage and was lowered on what looked to be style 5s. A middle aged gentleman with a handlebar mustache was driving the car.

really? when do you make it out to westwood?

the owner of the white one was a cool guy, he said he sometimes looks around e30tech, but he hasn't done much with the car. he doesn't know what kit it has or anything. i poked around and the wheels are old school OZ's.

I saw a MINT white m-tech11 coupe on a car hauler in Ontario. Did someone buy or sell one? Looks like it was either going some place far or had come from some place far.
