Official California E30 Sightings Thread

There was a really nice early 325is, granite or delphin, stopped at the corner of Doheny and 3rd street today a little after 1pm. Red haired guy driving it looked familiar, like maybe I've met him at one of the few meets I've been to. Exhaust/engine sound was really sweet, like maybe engine swap? If not, it's what I only wish my m20 sounded like.
I was a passenger in a new Ford Exploder, but couldn't roll down the window to say anything because I was on the phone with a client.

I had Chris at Castro replace the original muffler on my stock m20, which was definitely overdue. The results produced a fantastic sound. Aggressive and throaty, but not obnoxious or fart can-y. Just the perfect pitch of a German sports car. I definitely tip my cap to Chris for the choice of replacement part.

BBS Rs001, silver not gold. Bilstein sport shocks with m3 springs in front giving it a bit of a forward rake.
