LOL! dude, I was like 10 years old and I saw buildings fell, SUVs flipping over and going on top of smaller cars (I think a roll cage would do the job of securing you haha), houses that are built poorly were falling, the squatter's shacks all fell on the ground, so the slums became slummer, and after everything, I saw majority of the people in the streets were on their knees begging for forgiveness and praying... it was interesting and exciting that i have experience and seen it all. i have a feeling that we will live through this next earthquake and from the way it's going, i can see it happening very soon as another earthquake hit today, but in baja california, mexico

We were kinda homeless for a little bit after the quake lol, but it was an exciting and memorable experience as I lived through it.
I don't think exciting is a word for me to use after 3 weeks of that shit! and I lived through my ordeal back in 86.

I was like 10 years old and terrified., I also ended up homeless............:(

Dudes its coming. These are premonitions of the big one thats releasing little tiny bits of pressure before it goes "pop". Were overdue by about a decade for the next large earthquake. You guys need to be ready. By that I mean to know what to do when one hits. Im used to it by now. I just look around and make sure I have all my family in the right place when its happening.

When I was in Santiago, Chile I spoke with a lady who was in the Valdivia Quake in 1960

9.5!!! I nearly shat myself when she described it to me.

That would be Chile, 1960. Same area as Darwin's quake. This helps put our recent small quakes in the Northeast in perspective. From the USG...
