Alot of guys go to the Best Western in Carpinteria or the surrounding hotels and party at night. Once it gets closer, you can probably find someone to split a room for like $30-40.

I'm sure if you ask around you can find a place to stay, but the hotel is another option. I heard staying with all the guys and partying with them is worth the hotel though.

I wish I spent $30-40!! haha just ask T.J. the price, but I think if you are sharing a room with a bunch of guys it would work out a lot cheaper and will probably have a blast, I know a couple of the Best Western guys shared a room with 4? or 5 people in there.

And coming from longview myself I knew what it was like not knowing what real cities are like. But, it's definately a fun time. Depending on your age especially, you have state street and I know that's pretty common ground for some of the older guys.

Cali roads are decent but some area's could definatly be better. Just like any bigger city, there are spots that they haven't cleaned up and resurfaced in a while. As long as you aren't laying frame you should be fine.
