i will bring the camping gear hauler, everybody's stuff in my truck, I will leave behind my german sheperd behind. no family for me I will have to find me a live sleeping bag with two arms and legs.

I never liked Dockweiler because 1) we have to pay for parking. We could have pulled our money together and had a nice BBQ with plenty of food. 2) it's a beach and the parking lot fills up fast on nice summer days. We need to find a nice big park with BBQ grills and picnic table area. Somewhere off the freeways.

Parks like Wilson Park or Alondra Park in Torrance.

, what happened did the bitch not like the beach? but in all seriousness what do you think about Lake Casitas? no other real suggestions for an overnight stay. (realizmpro) mentioned a couple of parks for BBQ so we may just have to do both ;)

Yes, excellent idea, I used to go there all the time. It's right by Raging Waters near the 210, 57, and 10 freeways, nice and local, easy on/off ramp access. And swimming.

I know of a great park up around Ventura/De Soto area out here in woodland hills.

Can accommodate around 30 cars maybe more.
