Dogs?! I paid $800 for that car, and not one puppy less!

Hahahaha! It's actually not a bad car, but the seller wasn't kidding about an engine noise. I may be looking for a replacement hood soon, because one of the rocker arms (I suspect) is about to jump right out of there.

Also, car has salvage title after being sold to the State as a polluter or something. Seller bought it from Pick'n'pull just a few months ago, then the engine noise started. Also, the odometer just broke, according to the seller and confirmed by Carfax - to the extent you can trust either one.

I've always wanted a 325iC, now I got one. I'll check the valvetrain Saturday when I finally have some time. Until then, I can't say which way I'm going to go with this car. A buddy has an '87 325is that was rear-ended, has 10k miles on clutch and flywheel, about 40k on a fresh head. So that drivetrain might end up in my convertible. We'll see.

Anyway, sorry you all had to deal with the seller. I believe someone else posted the ad for him, so it never got taken down. His phone was ringing off the hook when we were doing the deal.

            Peace,
            Bill
