It seems someone took a liking to my wheels and instead of buying some similar to them or offering me money for mine, they saw fit to come by last night, jack up the car, remove the rears and put the chassis down on blocks in the rear. I would really like to think that someone looked at the condition of the paint on the car and decided that this wouldn't be a big deal. If that is the case and anyone knows the people that did this, convince them to get the wheels back to me within a week and this will be over, no questions asked. I am a car enthusiast and someone not only has stolen something of mine, but they violated my property and me. The value of each wheel is approximately $200 plus $100 for each tire, which puts this into Grand Theft according to the law. If after this grace period I find anyone with these wheels/tires and zero proof of purchase they will be needing to seek legal council to get out of jail. Police report is on file already. I have never seen another set of these wheels around, so someone showing up with JUST two of these at a meet will be highly suspicious.
Hopefully someone on here will see a CL/eBay or forum ad that I might miss or catch wind of someone boasting about the old school wheels they boosted. At this point anything will help. I want the wheels back since they are NLA and hard to find. Thanks in advance!

And FYI, they tried to steal the fronts too but were too weak to break the bolts free, so they it seems they bailed.
