Anyone plan on going next tuesday? I went today and didn't see any e30's there. There was a black subbie sti running a 46.5 tho. I'd love to have a little mini meet there and meet some r3v members and enthusiast if possible.Leave a comment:

Well, just getting the e21 fired up again after my 'wheel issue'. Still can't rev past about 4750 without it pinging like a mofo, which is probably good anyway since by that time I'm pushing over 10psi and AFR is starting to head north (ie lean out) past 14.0:1, none of which is good. In the next 2 weeks I'm taking care of some under-hood temp issues and going to FINALLY check on my waste gate to see if that is stuck shut or just not working right, causing me to boost way more than the 8psi I've currently got the AFR for. Also running some used ES100's in the rear until I get my spare wheel straightened and new tires for those rears. So I won't make it up there until AT LEAST the week of Thanksgiving, if not after that. We'll see, I'll keep you posted.Leave a comment:

Edit: I have seen you there! Red miata, un,istakable... You were with some other guy whoa had a white (?) e30 that went on the track while miata was parked. My eyes were like glude to those cars lol

Doug you'll still get vicious body roll, it's what e21's do. An e21 on C/O's was like my miata stock lol.

When are you going to come up.

 I have a buddy with a gutted e30 bringing it tomorrow.Leave a comment:

Not NEARLY as much anymore. The e21 in my sig is now on coil-overs, but still has some roll to it. Not even close to the angles I used to get though. Running 250/350 springs in it now, but the car is down to about 2200 lbs or so. Would have been a PERFECT track for me to run my old 318is on though, but alas the 2nd small case diff fragged itself and I sold it cheap to a friend so he could make a hotrod out of it.

I should be able to get up there in the early part of next year to keep Amir (Gruppe5) and Daryl&Adam (father/son with the e21) company with my e21. A nice tight course like that will give Daryl and me something to duke it out on where power isn't AS much of an issue.

Edit: Hmmm....might be time to update my sig now, esp since I doubt Jordan will be messing with it again anytime soon.Leave a comment:

The white e21 is actually a 320/6, so a M20B20 with carburation from the factory. They have gutted it, caged it, gone to coil overs, and the carb is nowhere NEAR stock anymore (something for a big block IIRC). They're still working all the bugs out of it so the kart track works great since they're fairly local to it and the price is fair for being able to shake the car down some.

I need to get up there once I'm a bit better tuned...Leave a comment:

Nice! If I dont get sucked up into modding my bimmer then I wanna do a summer project on something that can drift... broke kid + short time = m(most likely) 240sx. Wish I could get a corolla though Leave a comment:

Lol yea? What does he drive? I saw this stock ass 350Z that just had rims try to drift... bout third time around, he ate shit at the end of the first corner. Front bumper got OWNED! He was drifting badly to begin with, couldnt drift one corner without going wide or spinning out :nice:Leave a comment:
