      pulled my starter today... pain without a u-joint.-mine snapped on me today :/

        pelican article says intake mani has to be removed to access starter.i was pissed when my extension actually fit...

          I removed the starter on the e60 from the top side with out removing the intake. Now that was a magic tric and a half.
