and considering the parking lot i go into everyday for school was being tore up from me, and the police station just across the way. i was bound to be tattled on for the excessive dragging noise and destruction of property. plus i bet my JOM's were gonna blow pretty soon.

i never had an issue when i was slammed. cops didn't even look at me, well they did when my rear window was sticker bombed. but oh well.

i know a LOT of guys driving dumped cars and have never heard of anyone getting a ticket for being too low. exhaust/intake, tint, and lighting are much more commonly ticket-able offenses...

maybe im just over thinking it. my dad shed some useful insight to me. i always want to go lower because my valance would sit so high (even though the drive train sat lower) it was just a trick of the eyes. i was debating a lower valance but he said that if a cop saw the valance up off the ground he would not second glance it. whereas if the valance was .5 inches from the floor- or close to resting on the ground, that the officer would be more inclined to take the second look and write up a ticket.

just thought id share. ill probably drop her down tomorrow now :) thanks for the support guys.

just a thought- if i did accumulate a ticket from being "too low" would it be more of a fix-it-ticket?

usually the only time they enforce a vehicle height violatioin for being too low is when the chassis is lower then the bottom of the rim. If you were to get a flat you frame or suspension component would gouge in to the road damaging property and making it difficult to maintain control of the vehicle.
