This is how I have my V1 and then I tuck the detector on top and to the right of the rear view mirror. IT would be cooler if I actually drove my car. V1's are awesome if you drive outside of the city a lot. Going up to Mammoth I usually pass 3-5 traps. Last time I did get lasered though, i picked it up but it was probably too late if i was going fast enough for a ticked. I hear you can pick up a reflection but most of othe time if you pick up laser you have been hit. I have both x and k turned off so if it makes noise I know there is business ahead.

        Trivia time.

When I go on reverse my car starts to vibrate. What's wrong with it?

alright guys. got my license back today and finally got to enjoy actually driving my e30. i gotta say i am pumped on the car. first thing i did was take it to the muffler shop and had them throw on a 14815 and it sounds sweet. not very loud, kinda wis it was louder but maybe once it breaks in it will be better.

so, after driving all day i got out and the car kinda smells like radiator fluid. more on the driver side. my temp gauge doesnt work and i was driving the car hard... i felt the head and around and its not super hot.... do they kinda just do that smell or is this something i should be concerned about? i plan on taking my car over to MR 325 very soon for timing belt and water pump super soon.

so yea thats my adventure. feels so good to drive maaaaaaaaan.

Driving without a temp gauge is definitely not a good thing. No car is supposed to smell like coolant. I would be careful, you don't want to end up needing a new head gasket.

well, when can you pencil me in?

do you think it will be ok to get to your shop?

i gotta say too the exhaust job was funny. the exhaust didnt have any mounts through the piping... just headers and the muffler cage was holding the system up.... had tones of crap welds and exhaust leaks that were filled. it was classic.

joes muffler off M and 6th west. they actually gave me a 14815 that was the same but stainless. he said de doesn't carry magnaflow because they "fall apart." it was 140 for fixing the system and new muffler.

We need to chill once my clutch is fixed. :p
