        i feel like you would get better mpg if you had rebuilt them. when i rebuilt mine, they were so dirty and clogged. definitely going too hinder your mpg.

          apparently not, because i mathematically averaged over 24mpg.

            I get like 25 - 26 mpg when I'm cruising at 55mph which is weird since I have a Dinan chip and I'd figure that I'd get worse mpg. Anyways, I still have yet to put in my new injectors so that will most likely affect my gas mileage.

            Correct me if I'm wrong, but the bigger the injector, the more gas getting sent to the engine? Wouldn't that reduce the MPG?

              well mine read 24-26mpg all the time with my heavy ass foot and my driving.

              no, very minute to say the least. although, you can feel a bit of a difference. it's hard to make these motors feel quicker unless you got money.

                i don't understand, why can someone argue that an e36 m3 is superior to an e30 m3. i just can't wrap my head around that concept.

                      No, your engine management is just going to run the injectors at a lower duty cycle.

                      The Dinan chip, well arguments aside that it's not doing much, so we'll say a "performance" chip would in theory increase power or at least shift it into a more usable band and that should mean it can do the same work as before more efficiently.

                          We're a little apples and oranges here, because I'm a non-vert with maf, full exhaust, tune etc.

                          But I'm talking mileage math, not obc reading. Your obc claimed like a 35mpg tank once anyways.
