If I had the chance to I would believe me but if I don't have a car then they won't give me my license back and I'd be facing jail time if I don't have it by march 28 they gave me my last 30 day extension after they took what I saved up
No car=No license= possibly a 6 month to 1 year in county
Past tickets that have been paid off and have served time for, my DUI got fucked when they lost the case then when they finally found it 7 months later the new law passed requiring people to have the alcohol blower installed in their cars thus that's why I need a car to be able to get my license back then the last time I went to court they billed me with $850 in back fees and all this bs why because they fucked up with everything
At a certain point it's time to take personal responsibility.
It's either you making bad choices or everyone else, the court, the police, the e30 seller, everyone else fucking up. So think about the chances of everyone else fucking up or you fucking up.
When I was in your shoes and feeling the same way I had to rock back on my heels and think to myself that if everyone around me is fucking up but I'm the common variable then maybe I need to make better choices and either stop fucking up myself or not be around so many people fucking up...either way I can only control myself and fix what I can control.
Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!
I've been dealin with that DUI for almost 2 years now I'm not trying to blame anyone except myself for trusting someone I knew with my money ,court it's the same story every time it's not no surprise but what gets me about them is i had to sign a petition to sell my seta cause no license and now they are requiring me to have a license but no car
The case was fucked from the get go second time the da had to get taken off the case because of what was going on with it and constant bs from their office
No offense man but it seems like you are trying to make excuses. Life happens man, you just have to make the best out of the worst situations. You don't need a car, especially with the DUI. You can get a State ID as opposed to a license. They can't force you to get a new license if your previous one is suspended. You can only get a new license once that suspension has been lifted. It sounds like the county is just trying to get more money out of you and something went wrong during the whole court procedure.
As you mentioned above, if they are truly threatening you with jail time, you don't need a car to get places. My recommendation is to find somewhere close to where you live that is hiring, work full time, pay off the remaining court fees, get your life back on track, and when you have enough money buy a new car and get your license back. Obviously don't jump the gun and buy a car while you're still in the red. A good bike would probably be $50 - $100 and it's a mode of transportation and I'd just bike back and forth from work.
Whatever the case man, good luck and get your life back together.
