So what would have happened if you did buy a car that someone allowed you to have a balance on?

1) You would have gone to jail for not paying the fine, car getting tickets and possibly impounded for not being moved for street cleaning which seller would be stuck with.

2) Seller would be screwed over for several months till you saved up money to pay the court and thousands of dollars in insurance because you have a DUI. If you don't have the credit for a car then the insurance company will likely want at least 30% down. Plus possible broker fees.

I don't know your whole situation but if i needed a car to go to school i could round up $100 from each of my relatives to get enough for a cheap commuter car. If your family is not willing to do that then i would not rely on the kindness of strangers. You need to sit down and create a reasonable monthly budget for yourself. Then factor in whether or not you can actually afford a car note, gas, insurance, and maintenance.

The case would've been dropped if I had my liecense but I didn't so fees were added

The suspension got lifted by the court but in order for me to reinstate my license is I have to have insurance with an sr22 which I have,$322 DMV fees which were paid , ignition interlock device which I don't have because I don't have a car maintanance is done by me and I only drive to and from work

Dude, no offense to you or your situation, but you dont have a good case here, no one will let you make payments on any of their cars here, everyone knows your deal now.

Its not a matter of find it in you heart and help me out anymore. You coulda had atleast $1500 save up by now since you been on this forum and bought Matts vert.

Shit happnes, people always get in shitty situations, but maybe a beloved E30 isnt it for you, maybe you need a beater for a couple of hunderd bucks... food for thought.

I knew that would not last long. Let Shant know that the deal on the 528 goes for him too. If I had the money I would just let him build one for me but I gotta save my nickles before I can do my stroker build. I may have found a good deal on an old dogs leg so for now I have my sights set on that.

Might want to go to an impound auction and just buy what ever running car you can get. Save up for an e30 and junk it when your done. You should be able to get at least $400 if you junk a car now.
