we had a great trip, met some friends of the wife and met some good folks.

when we get back in town on the 1st ill barter booze for hands to help get the truck unloaded quickly. only catch is no drinking and carrying. ;)

Sorry to butt in but I think #399 is the number for general roadside service that LA provides to get you to the nearest exit from the fwyw, when you're broke down......so in terms you both FAIL!...........

If your broken down on an LA freeway they come give you a short tow, change your tire, or give you free gas. You automatically pay for the service in your registration. The AAA driver told me they are only open from 6:30am to like 10:00pm

hmm. not a terrible deal there, but it makes sense to try to keep the roads clear.

haha well yes you will be slow but that is a given for all of our stock cars.

First try was this morning at a light in Brea. Technically you want a straight flat road which I kind of had and it was the first time I had used the thing so I expect to improve from this. I know my shift points can be improved.

From memory my 0-60 was around 8.5s and 1/4mi was in the 16 second range around 80 mph lol.

My only way to test this is that I can barely pull a 2010 tacoma TRD to 60, and it's supposed to do 7.8.

What about a passenger and a stop watch? Or a camera. You can use video editing software and see the time interval
