Cars ive had since gregg got the e36, umm two. A Impreza and my vert. Sold the Impreza for the vert ,no issues.

Heres my thinking, and perhaps I didn't choose my words all too correctly
when I said "I see nothing wrong with it."

For all those who follow the program and know the formatting, that
segment of 'the news' had nothing exactly new, they've picked at
French, Italians, The U.S, Spaniards, Portuguese, that I can remember off
the top of my head not to mention the constant picking at themselves,
the English are at the top of the Top Gear bashing list, and I don't think
it's ever blown to these proportions.

Was it overkill? Yes, they had points enough to stop, but beating shit to
a pulp is also part of the shows formatting.

The part that I seem to have trouble swallowing in all this, is how riled up
the Mexican media got about this, ridiculous. Spilling a very yellow news
note to 'the community' that would have never heard about it otherwise,
it would have never made a difference in their life. But the way they heard
it, the bent translations some of it got, was made so biased that it became
the type of news that induces anger, pride, and remorse. Inspiring a people
to dislike/hate is what's truly wrong for me.

Why is it so damn different when the Mexican media offends Central and
Southern America, Europeans, Africans, or Asians, the "It's okay if we do
it but don't do it to us" mentality irks me. It seems that they quite often
forget that respect is a two way street. Not to mention the fact that
Mexico has got much larger issues at hand, the country from the bottom
up should tend to its own garden before jumping and crying sacrilege at
television humor. Humor that they don't exactly discourage by proving
most of the stereotypes wrong.

It's my stand that while it may have gone too far,
people should have the ability to take what they're going to dish out,
and should also focus on important problems, people can talk shit
day in and day out, if your hands are clean it really shouldn't matter
what others say about you.
