I got pulled over and my hood opened by police today.
I was just really nice and cooperative. Told him I left wallet in my suit pocket and wanted to get home before dark. He asked some questions about the car, if any aftermarket support, if it's factory turbo charged(since he pointed that out pretty quick), and some other things. I answered truthfully except I said that some e30's come turbo charged and turbo diesel(lol -_-) factory, but not many.. hoping he'd bite and get off the topic.

Complimented the car, asked me to put a front plate, and let me go!
I told him if I can give him my name to search my license and he said it's okay I believe you, and I was on my way!

Phew.

I fibbed a little also saying my dad and I were trying to fix up and "restore" the car too. Just tried being as innocent as possible without milking it in fear.

Hey guys, so I have been trying to google this information but came up short. To make things easy and simple; can a bad throw out bearing shorten the life of the clutch and make it slip?

i swapped in a factory red carpet. it was a big bitch. i was afraid of breaking the door sill clips so it's a little raggedy at the sides.
