I was wondering if any of you have used brighter bulbs in your tail lights when you went to smoked lens. A few days ago one of you posted to beware of dark tail lights lens creating a case for someone to say that the ran into me because my tail lights had smoked covers. Maybe LED's?

Honestly Jim I don't think the Startecs reduce output at all. I've been behind Shant's car with those lights and they're just as bright as the OEM 3rd brake light.

Aren't startecs just a little smoked haze inside and clear, for the most part?

Thanks Matt, I am just being a paranoid old man I guess. Just wanted to be sure. Here's a picture of them installed.
