Generally you do pads and rotors at the same time, every time.

For a regular street car I recommend Brembo blank rotors and Pagid pads.

You don't need track pads on the street...

Yes you do. And slotted cross drilled rotors with titanium heat sinks. I thought you knew about cars Matt. Call me cheap but i allow my rotors to go through 2 sets of pads. Especially now that i have shiny new multi-piece rotors. Although i've been considering taking out the good disc and tossing in some cheap non slotted rotors for daily abuse. Then change rotors and pads for track days. But i am really lazy so meh.

Last time I did the rotors was a 2 sets of brake pads ago. I normally get 2 or 3 sets of pads with a set of rotors. I guess you can call me a cheap college student for that. Truthfully I just want something good that will last. I'm probably not going to track my vert anytime soon unless I get a more steady income. But I'll check out prices for the combo you recommended.

But how much more do those rotors run? And if it's the really squeaky / noisy pads then count me out. That noise annoys the hell out of me. It's like your on bad brake pads or nails to a chalkboard.

I think I'm running whatever rotors and posiquiet pads. 2 years and still bite well with plenty of life. Then again I'm not crazy on my brakes 95% of the time.

For the record, I like posi-quiet's. They stand up admirably to some pretty decent ridge runs.

They just don't bite as hard as I'd like , but that could be the rotors I have on there
