Honestly to me theres something about cars originally designed as coupes/sedans and then turned into cabrios that makes them look akward, whereas cas that start life as topless roadsters tend to look alot better and the reinforcement pieces arent as weird looking because the thing is designed in a certain fashion from square one.
So over the last few dry days i've noticed a strange smell coming from my car. So I touched he carpet in the backseat and low and behold its soaked! Parking on the curb when the storm hit got some water in my back carpet. I had to take out the interior and cut out the back half of the carpeting right in the middle of wear the seat bolts line up (to cover up the cut when i put it back). I yanked out the carpet and it's just soaked with water. I doubt it' sgoing to dry without smelling awful. I might dynamat the back to prevent extra road noise. Perhaps i'll even replace the carpeting.. what do you guys think? I didnt realize how much damn foam was under the carpeting.
