lol Throw, I was so confused as to what you meant by through...anyways, the old one has about a 3 inch throw I would say, but from what I read this one is about the same but the actually rod is about 4 inches longer, so technically shorter throw...

but thats a good buy, good price for everything

Hey guys, what's a good Switched 12v source I can tap into?
Preferably near the center console/HVAC.

Window Kill switch?
Ash tray light?

I'm 100% noob with wires and literally just learned everything an hour ago. Just want to double check.

You could easily tap into your cigarette lighter/auxiliary power and then run that to an own button of ur choosing above the radio (if you have a space available) and then you have a switchable power source...what for?

Finally wiring my oil temp and pressure gauges up since I have the senders now.
I have them wired just to the dimmer switch for lighting, but not the actual mechanics themselves.
It requires a switched 12v it says.

Cigarette lighter or ash tray light? Sorry. Like I said, I literally just learned/studied all this electric stuff an hour ago.

I like the idea of being parasitic from the 12vSwitched from the window kill switch unless you can convince me not to.

go grab a cheap voltmeter from harbor and check. any of the window switches should be fine iirc.
