24v engines are so silky smooth at idle and cruising compared to m20's.

My last e30 was silky smooth (enter zoohans voice)

The e30 is my 30th car.

My trans mounts are Oem.. not after market.

The engine is smooth.I'm just picky. Im just very finicky..things need to be just right or I change them.

Go m70. Can't get any smoother then that.

Oh ak.. the Subaru have soft suspension but the engine is far from smooth. It does have a nice rumble.

Here is what my current motor mounts look like. These are recoommended for RACE ONLY.

You will feel everything.. When you start.. when the clutch engages... Everything.. it's pretty hardcore. Good for weekend cars but for DD not so much!

Right but thats their street mount, so only slightly stiffer than that of stock mounts...I am not sure that switching mounts is going to make this any better, are your trans mounts bad?
