Letting this one cure and prepping the drivers seat, I've pinched it, stretched it, poked it, sat on and rubbed on it, it's feeling like it was always black, my mind doesn't want to believe it yet though.

Don't trip. It won't come off. I dyed many seats in the past. The only issues I've had was my armo buddies with their stupid true religion jeans and all the stupid buttons scratching the paint but it was still solid.

You used some kind of vinyl/carpet paint though right.

also, i wish i had a better soldering gun. mine sucks shit and is causing me to have horrid looking connections. :/

Maybe your just not very good at it. lol. I use the cheapest weller you can get and have cleaner connections then people with $100+ fully adjustable units.

I took more time prepping than painting so I'm hoping it pays off, it looks and feels the part, time will tell
