LOL at changing the motor. Usually an electric motor works or it does not.

it was only going for a little bit then stopping and i had a spare motor so i said fuck it and swapped it out anyways.

when only the left side (side without the memory control part) is hooked up it moves all the way back and forth. i thought it might have been the memory thing stopping it but i tried without it and it still only moves a couple inches forward and back. its almost like something is stopping the tracks but theres nothing there and it doesnt look bad from what i can see. im gonna take it all apart tomorrow again and try with the spare tracks that i have. i really wish i had some goddamn manual seats right now

And Top Gear UK was in LA and at Willow Springs Raceway on episode 2. I just wish Top Gear UK did the filming on an autocross/ track day or at least announced that they were in the area to meet up with US fans. I would have driven up to beat captain slow around the track or at autocross. Lol

i loved that they were local. would have been cool to have heard they were coming in. but i guess they know what happens when they announce shit.

and shwan, those wheels look soooo bad ass. i can't wait to see those wheels mounted. oh, and i'd also be willing to put the motor in and get it running thursday.

I dont think top gear U.K. would come all the way to So Cal just to drive in a parking lot. Sounds pretty dumb. Plus they've already said auto x events were stupid. I would have to agree now that they cost nearly as much as a track day.

they did a "challenge" in three new front-engined supercars. they drive from las vegas to los angeles where they race at willow springs and then on to palm springs. they also have a race to the mexican border, with the loser having to cross the border.
