Terry I can see you throwing him off a montain all beast like lol

For real though, do not let insurance screw you! My friend got sandwiched between a navigator and a camry like 2 weeks ago in his 73 Gran Torino Coupe. Offered him 5k -.- Thing was mint, rebuilt motor and less than a year on custom paint. Had a classic car appraisal guy look over his stack of receipts so hopefully that goes well...

Again, good luck to you Abby!

Has nothing to do with it. My dad's sonoma was a one-owner that i had done 5 cross country trips in with my dad. I had so much history in it that truck, it just killed me to see it twisted up on the side of the road. Certainly not a 'classic,' but my dad would trade his new f150 in to get it back.

What does that have to do with today? Well I slept at 2 and woke up at 6... Now I'm in the school library with burning eyes
              That sucks. :(
It's why I never trust tires to hold motors. Always have them on stands or steadied on 2x4s.

I do know that my next swap will be 127889012763x better planned, organized, and carried out

I learned a lot from my first motor swap. Second time was much easier and faster.

To make you feel better Abby , i think i was around your age 20 when this happened to me with my 1st car. I had it for 2 years.

anyways ghetto pix of paperback pix lol.

The hit was so hard it twisted the frame , the engine hit the firewall , trans got pushed up inside the car, dash cracked. Was very bad. Old lady ran red light and hit me head on when i was allready going 40mph , she was going just about 35mph , do the math. ..

i was dumb and only took 3k , should have got 5 at min, still have a broken collar bone to this day and never had it looked at.

Man that sucks. I mean yours looks worse then mine, but totaled is totaled so I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

I'm still figuring out what to do. I already made a claim and gave my story to my insurance, and he gave his.
So far it's his word versus mine I guess. Ugh.
I have side damage only and zero front-end damage. How ever he has only front-end damage.

                        Anyone can give me insight?

whats up with the rear tire? did it break the hub?

What ever you do , dont give in to their 1st offer, the insurance company's wanna be cheap. You can get alot for your car. i got screwed over and didnt even buy back my car. I lost out on alot.

Yea and the trailing arm is cracked in a spot.
The motor mount is off itself and shifted also.
I'm already compiling those things and taking my car for full inspection so the adjuster doesn't try to have at me because there's stuff you can't see with the naked eye.

I want to get through the "his word vs. mine" thing first. I know this guy is stubborn and I want to get over that mountain first.
