you can half ass it or you can do it properly. expect around 5k for a good setup that'll be reliable. less if you do all the work yourself. and whatever you do, don't buy a used turbo car that someone else did unless they have receipts to back up name brand parts and labor. you'll regret it.

put a 10mm deep socket or whatever socket will fit in the hole and hit it up and down with a mallet

get pb blaster. and if you have a heat gun, you heat up the spacer and use a mallet or something similar (as to not damage it), and hit all around.

Does anyone in my area have garage space I could maybe use for a few hours sometime? Just found out that my shifter carrier is loose (actually it's upside down and just hanging there) and my whole shifter is slop. I need to get in there fix it but I live in an apartment complex and don't have the room to do it here.

Alternatively, if there is another way to fix it without having to drop the exhaust/driveshaft, please let me know as this is something I'm really not looking forward to doing

My friend's e30. My mother was passenger and asked if the car is fast considering how loud it is.
