His explanation makes no sense! You don't throw a rod because your spark plug wire is disconnected.

so when bypassing a heater core do you

a. plug the lines

or

b. splice the lines together

b. seemed like the logical choice at first but then after some reading and thinking, you're basically throwing hot coolant right back to where cool coolant should be going. would plugging the lines cause problems?

Ppl flake and also I havnt listed it. Its not killing me to keep it , just need to get that clutch done. However ive been driving the volva everyday and the m is just parked loner status. I dont want to worry about it getting messed with when im not home or such. plus i wanna get this volva tuned lol

For the most part cops don't expect an E30 to have a turbo under the hood so unless they catch you doing something silly you'll probably be just fine. The few times I've been pulled over in my car over the time I've owned it they've never said anything... And I have a boost gauge in the A/C vent. LOL.

I think the BAR fine is around $750 or so to avoid getting it checked by the ref.
If you get pulled over and ref'd again though, there is no way around it.
Something like that. My friend got ref'd for a cone filter and his car was an m50 turbo. The cop didn't know shit lol.
