    Hey dudes, quick question and I'm sure someone will know what I'm talking about. My '89 325i hood (and every other E30 that I've seen) has that crappy 3-piece foam insulation underneath it, but my buddy's '90 325i 4dr has an awesome molded 1-piece covering.

    It's got a BMW part number on it as well (didn't jot it down), but was this a late production thing or a retrofit? I want one!

    Can take a pic tonight if I'm being too vague.

        Only my 84 had that crappy foam Both my 87s had the molded one piece , ill look for a part # later

                      I have that on my 88 :D

                      I have no clue where to begin to look for the part #?

                        Ok, cool. I guess it's common enough that I should be able to find one somewhere. I'm sure I saw a part number stamped on it.
