actually, on further inspection, my diff makes some sketchy clicking noises too. How much is a rebuild?

I need 4 bcaps that hold air. Selling the vert and need some rollers wheels to make it on it trip to the buyers house. call me if you got 4 on the cheap. or any wheels that fits a e30

What tools do I need to yank a diff?

nothing special. just a set of wrench's and sockets. and a jack for when it loosens up. pretty heavy

What tools do I need to yank a diff?

Time , make sure to take off the rear wheels and put the car in gear. D/c the half shafts , theres 4 bolts on the top of the diff and one bushing in the back. make sure to d/c the speed sensor. Fairly easy job.
