The hf bearing puller works just be careful with the big bolt because the threads gets messed up if you hit it with a impact gun. If your doing it by hand it'll take forever to press out and press in.
Well boys, it took me 3.5 hours of driving and thinking to stop myself from doing something i may have regretted. Thanks to everyone who had advised me previously.

Is this the ix with primered pieces, running all over L.A.? I think I've seen it at Papa Cristos off Normandie/Pico once.
The only primer visible on mine is the tops of the arches, I don't drive it more than a couple times a week, just groceries and canyons.
I took it to Castro for the suspension install, I'm sure they'll remember it, as it's the only one they saw all year lol
Two years, moved to LA a year and a half ago, still oregon plated.
Spoke to the note-leaver, seems he and his dad work on e30s and are looking for an ix. I wasn't particularly looking to sell, but if they meet my asking I'll let it go. If not, I get to keep driving the car. Win-win

Whats your asking? Pm me. My brother is looking for an ix
Stock they're really high up and roll quite a bit, but now that it's lowered on stiffer springs I love how it handles. You can put the power down pretty early in corner exit. Even though it's rear-bias power distribution, the pull in the front makes a big difference, emphasizes understeer, and you ain't putting the tail out without some effort.
