Booo, tried to fire up the car today with my new starter and gas started going all over the eta fuel pump in the bay... Maybe the line is clogged
? If the return line is too high can the pressure over power it? If not then I guess my fuel line or FPR is clogged.

I figured that, since you did mention your sister had access to materials. I've got a steering wheel i've had for some time and it needs to be recovered. I'm sort anal when it comes to things like so looking for a really good steering wheel guy is tuff.

my first time recovering stuff, the leather my sister gave me is super hard to stretch, but works for being free leather :) and they cut the leather in like 5 mins so some parts were too big thats why i need another one to get an exact perfect fit cut out of the leather and recover some more and flip them for a small profit...i know leather is expensive i saw a few kits to recover steering wheels and it was 75 or so...and to recover i got quoted 250 and 200 for two good places here in chuntana...

since you're an 'i' now, can't you swap to single in-tank fuel pump and bypass the second pump?

he could do that , but whats the point. All 87 I's have two pumps. Mostlikly its clogged up.
