    or buy a 2 channel? run the fronts from the head unit and use a 2 channel amp to power the rears if you are on a budget

        i'm not super on a budget, i just don't know wtf i'm doing.

            I know the basics about audio. but I know stock BMW wiring can't handle 600 watts so I gotta rewire which I do not know what to do but got someone who will help me out with it.

                Get quality speakers so yu won't buy a cheap amp... what head unit do you have?

                    Arent rockfords decent? I've got a blaupunkt rpc 430. It's pretty old school, but I want to keep a vintage look.

                        Just get some regular 5.25 speakers.
                        polk audio is decent for the price and are loud.
                        mb quart is one of the best yu can get but its a pretty penny for a pair
                        If yu want good quality but cheap polk or pioneer for speakers .

                                        The amp is probably not connected with the correct gauge wire ...
                                        And yea speakers sound good if yu have a decent headunit ...
                                        Get polk or pioneer
                                        Do yu have a sub?
